Upper Deck and Major League Baseball Announce Playoff Partnership

Co-Sponsored Events to Take Place at Hobby Shops in Playoff Cities This Week

Carlsbad, CA – (October 10, 2007) – Upper Deck and Major League Baseball are looking to give back to collectors and hobby shops who have helped to make 2007 a very memorable year for baseball card products.  Select hobby shops will be running in store events this week to help promote excitement around the League Championship Series and Upper Deck baseball products this year.

Collectors in attendance will have an opportunity to win unique prizes based on purchases of Upper Deck baseball products.  Some of the prizes include apparel, video games, ipods, Upper Deck cards and the grand prize of game tickets to the League Championship Series in their city.  Collectors are encouraged to contact these shops to get more information on the promotion dates and times this week:
