Superlative Packages A Punch

In the past, several manufacturers have taken a shot at gimmicky packaging, hoping that lunchboxes or soup cans were the best way to attract the attention of fickle collectors. Perhaps if what was inside had been as clever and creative, the packaging would have served its purpose.

But in the case of Superlative Hockey, it looks as though you can judge a book by its cover.

Becket Hockey has learned that the highly anticipated product, due for release April 30, will not be issued in a standard box or pack format. Instead, each "pack" of Superlative will come in leather-bound hand-numbered limited edition book.

Each book contains seven cards: one autograph card; one game-used jersey card; one Superlative Prospect autographed game-used jersey card; one patch card; one auto/jersey card; one Famous Fabrics card; and one special insert card.



All autographs are hard-signed and all memorabilia is game-used in Superlative. The print run is limited to just 3,000 hand-numbered books.
