Upper Deck Announces First 2008-09 NHL UD Black Rookies
New “Autograph Lettermen” cards will be revealed each week
North Las Vegas, NV (October 29, 2008) – As more and more rookies get time on the ice in the NHL, many collectors are getting excited about exchange cards in early Upper Deck products like 2008-09 NHL UD Black. Upper Deck will reveal rookies included in this set over the next few weeks. Each exchange card will be good for an “Autographed Letterman” rookie card from the 2008-09 set. Each letter of these cards can be used to spell out the player’s last name.
The first group of rookie exchange cards from 2008-09 NHL UD Black are listed below:
Card #103 – Steven Stamkos – Tampa Bay
Card #106 – Fabian Brunnstrom - Dallas
Card #107 – Michael Frolik – Florida
Card #115 – T.J. Oshie – St. Louis
Card #119 – Luke Schenn – Toronto
These cards should be produced, signed and ready to ship to collectors by March 2009. Upper Deck’s 2008-09 NHL UD Black carries a suggested retail price of $125 per two-card hobby pack and is available in stores now. |
